A little trip to Keady was in order to take some snaps of the McCormack family. The latest, littlest arrival in the McCormack household; Cara, was on top form, ready with lots of smiles for the camera. She is a little dote! Brenda & Aoibheann were on hand with the entertainment to keep our little lady engaged. They know the BEST nursery songs. I want tips!
Big sis Aoibheann, was a dab hand at working the camera. Talk about a natural!! It’s not easy to act in a natural & flattering way when somebody is pointing a camera in your direction. I am officially the worst person in front of the camera. When I see a camera pointing my way, I cue my ‘Irish Dancing” pose . . . head straight, back straight, thumbs tucked into fists and hands straight down by my side. Did you notice, how many times I said; “Straight”? It’s not a good look! It might have served me well at Clara Feis in 1988, but it’s not rocking any of my adulthood pictures. I well know that angles work better in photographs, but I just can’t help it! So, practise what I preach . . . . not what I do 🙂
Anyhow, back to the McCormack family. I hope you enjoy . . .
