Getting the opportunity to photograph Donna & Eoin’s wedding was a treat.  Donna is a fellow St. Louis school mate and you know, how I love photographing St. Louis alumni brides!!  On the morning of the wedding, the Kelly house, was very calm.  Donna had everything planned to perfection, and that allowed everybody the time to relax and build up the excitement for the day ahead.  There is nothing that will help build excitement, like the pittar pattar of little people in a house, and the Kelly grandchildren did just that.  Donna’s little nieces and nephews, were all dressed to the nines, and very excited to see their auntie Donna, all dressed up on her big day.  They need not have worried . . . Donna did not disappoint, and was a stunning bride.  Lisa did a fab job with the makeup and another St. Louis lady; “Dearbhla”, worked her magic with the hair styles.  I’m always in awe of hairdressers and how they can manipulate our tresses into an elegant upstyle.  I struggle with getting my pony tail straight and without bumps, never mind, the intricacies of a glamorous up style.  Donna’s irregular choice wedding shoes, were my personal favorite.  Seriously, irregular choice shoes . . . whats not to love!!

Donna & Eoin are so cute together, and their wedding ceremony in the Westhenra was beautiful.  I had a great time tagging along with Donna, Eoin, and their bridal party, as we explored some nooks & crannies of Monaghan town, for the location pictures.  It’s obvious that Donna & Eoin think the world of each other, and this made my job very easy.  A gentle whisper here . . . and little cuddle there, are all the ingredients that are needed for the best wedding pictures.  These love birds arrived back to the Westhenra hotel, to spend the night celebrating their union, with; fine food, laughter and throwing some shapes on the dance floor.  I hope you enjoy this little snapshot of their special day!
