Sadie

Sadie Murphy’s current postal address might tell you that she hails from London, but her DNA tells a different story.  This is an Emyvale lass, through and through.  Sadie’s, Mammy & Daddy are Emyvale natives, and I got the chance to photograph this precious little bundle of cuteness, during her first visit home.  Sadie was nice and alert for most of our shoot, with her legs kicking and big bright smiles.  I have to admit, I’m a little jealous of her wardrobe.  Is that wrong?  The little outfits were just the cutest, and with that lovely baby skin tone, the bright colours were just beautiful on her.  Watching Emma & John with Sadie, it’s clear to see that she is a much loved little baba.  Emma has a fab technique of relaxing Sadie, by gently stroking her forehead.  I was in a trance watching Emma working her magic, and was nearly asleep myself.  What a beautiful way to relax your little person.  I must have missed that chapter in the “everything you need to know, before you have a baby” book, but I’m highlighting it here, for all you future mammies.

Not only did I get to have a little photo shoot with Sadie, I also got to tag along to her Christening.  I’m sure it was extremely special for Emma & John to have this celebration for Sadie, in the same church they said their wedding vows in.  Christenings are very special events in any family, and I’m so glad I was there to capture the moments.  Little Sadie can look back on these images in years to come, and relive the magic.  Now, don’t be a stranger Miss Sadie!  I want to see your sweet little face, bouncing along Main street Scairbh na gCaorach (Emyvale),in years to come, begging your Mammy & Daddy for money, so you can buy sweeties in the shop 🙂
